This year, December 7th, the lively day of Florentine Christmas, with the addition of the Christmas Tree in the city center.
In the period of Births, 8 December and 7 January, the city comes alive with a fantastic theme of lights and colors on the theme of the Winter Garden. You can admire light installations in other neighborhoods, on the Ponte Vecchio and in Piazza della Signoria there will be spectacular video projections.
Among the surprises dedicated to the little ones, this year Santa Claus' house stands out, all located in Palazzo Vecchio, where children will be able to write and post their letters.
The "Train in the Park" returns to the farmhouse park, where children aged 3 to 10 will be able to live a unique experience, in a stage course to discover nature. The route appointment has a more gradual effect: the conflict with Santa Claus. To view the date and effectiveness of the reservation, click here.
In Piazza Santa Croce you can visit the Christmas market, which is the largest in the city. A small Christmas village with a characteristic wooden chalet, where you can buy handmade gifts, Christmas decorations and, why not, Tuscan and non-Tuscan culinary delicacies.
There are no plans to visit Florence in this period... Well now you can't miss it!
Happy holidays to all of you!
